About CORE Contractors
In the summer of 2020, we decided to open Construction Operations and Renovation Experts, also known as CORE Contractors. With the rising cost of materials and transportation across the nation, there was a definitive need in the marketplace for a national construction company that employed multi-trade trained technicians to help reduce construction and facility costs for national retailers.
Working closely with our clients, consisting of retail stores, restaurants, and supply chains, we were able to find cost-effective solutions and value-added services to help them best achieve their goals.
We provide our clients with both multi-trade, trained technicians as well as CORE partner managed services. Through our rigorous hiring and on-boarding process we are able to employ elite, multifaceted technicians that are skilled in all areas of the construction process. When the need arises, through our CORE Partner Managed Services we are able to manage specific trades such as plumbing, mechanical, electrical and design needs tailored to each individual project. This process allows us to hone in on each unique project and truly define the customers needs in order to save them time, and reduce costs.
Meet our Team
Raymond Wilhite
Co-Founder
Raymond has been working in Facilities since 2008. He excels in managing complex, difficult projects with a diversity of tasks and goals. As one of the co-founders of CORE Contractors, he works daily to give a customer centered approach to each individual project and client’s needs while leading and growing an energetic team at CORE. Raymond holds several state certified Contractor licenses including Florida since 2010, he also graduated with his MBA in 2019 from the University of South Florida.
Ryan Wilhite
Project Manager
Ryan brings 11 years of experience in the phosphate industry as an industrial mechanic at an anhydrous ammonia terminal. His background in industrial mechanics provides him with a strong technical foundation and problem-solving skills that contribute to the success of CORE’s projects.
Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with his wife and two boys.
Chad Daniels
Project Manager
Chad brings over 20 years of experience as a commercial account executive and four years in consumer sales. His extensive background in client management and sales has equipped him with the skills to drive projects forward while ensuring exceptional customer service and efficiency.
Outside of work, he is deeply involved in his community, coaching both football and softball for his kids' leagues. He is also a passionate sports fan, cheering on the Florida Gators and North Carolina basketball.
Sabrina Roberts
Project Coordinator
Sabrina brings a diverse background in administrative support, sales, and project management. Sabrina has developed strong organizational and multitasking skills giving her a well-rounded understanding of business operations and client relations.
At CORE Contractors, she plays a key role in coordinating projects efficiently and ensuring smooth communication between teams and clients.
Outside of work, she is a passionate hockey fan, especially of the Tampa Bay Lightning, and enjoys spending time with friends and her dog.
Mel Grimm
Operations Manager
Mel has been working in operations and construction project management for over a decade. With 10 years of experience in operations and 12 years in construction project management and coordination, Mel excels in streamlining processes, managing complex projects, and ensuring efficiency across all aspects of CORE Contractors' operations. As the Operations Manager, Mel is dedicated to delivering a customer-centered approach while supporting and growing a strong, dynamic team.
Outside of work, Mel enjoys reading, roller skating, and spending time with her dog.
